Wood types
We start with the basics: the raw material.
For this, we choose from six types of wood.
Each type has its own history, characteristics and properties that define it.

Oak
reclaimed
This oak wood served for years and now gets a new life in one of our products. It will be restored, but retains its patina.

Oak
original
This oak wood served for years and now gets a new life in one of our products. The original wood is brushed clean from dirt and grime and the nails are pulled out. This wood maintains its original patina.

Teak
reclaimed
Teak’s high oil content, high tensile strength, and tight grain make it particularly suitable for desired weather resistance. This recycled material is sanded and may contain repairs.
Wood textures
Once the type of wood has been determined, it’s time for the next step: choosing the right texture.
There are eight exceptional textures to pick from, ranging from hand-sculpted by our master carpenters to machine-carved.
They can be applied to any type of wood!

Natural
A subtle rustic treatment obtained by extra brushing is our standard texture.

Chainsaw cut
The Chainsaw Cut finish offers a rugged, rustic aesthetic, showcasing the raw, unrefined marks left by the chainsaw. This finish emphasizes the wood's natural texture, giving each piece a bold, industrial look that celebrates its untamed origins.

Tiré / Linié
The Linié finish features clean, linear markings that add a modern, geometric, yet playful element to the wood. This finish is perfect for those seeking a contemporary design.

Patroné
Special Sempre design, chiseled by hand!

Cadré
Squared out and made with a special technique we developed throughout the years.

Sculpt
Carefully carved textures and contours that enhance the natural beauty of the wood, adding a touch of artistry and refinement to every piece.
Stone types
Discover our selection of natural stone materials, offering a blend of timeless beauty and exceptional durability. Our collection features a variety of high-quality stones, ideal for creating elegant table tops, consoles, countertops and other design elements.

Bluestone
Belgian Bluestone is characterised by many fossils, cemented in a micro-crystalline gangue containing very finely divided carbon, which gives the limestone its blue greyish colour. Belgian Bluestone is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use due to its low porosity.

Sinai pearl
A neutral and even tone in a warm sandy color that can range from subtle chalk to bright yellow. A new addition to our collection!

Carrara marble
Carrara marble is a white or blue-grey marble that carries a rich history dating back to the Roman empire. The composition of Carrara Marble makes it susceptible to acids.

Autumn green
Sourced by hand in the quarries located in north Rajasthan we find this unique textured stone that reminds us of the rainforests.

Neo
A eyecatcher for sure, our Neo stone is something to behold. Only available in antique or leathered finish!

Gautier
A quartzite from South America. This dynamic stone has shades of greens, browns, plums and reds. It’s incredibly unique and ideal for any room where you are looking to add character or excitement.
Wickers
Wicker is used for various products: from chairs to sunbeds. As a base material, we choose between rattan, abaca, water hyacinth, and rope.
Our rattan products are woven by hand, so the ends of the rattan can come loose. If so, they can be tucked in again or cut off.
Abaca is a strong, durable, and eco-friendly fibre derived from the leaves of the abaca plant. Abaca fibre is valued for its exceptional strength, flexibility, buoyancy, and resistance to damage in salt water.

Teak branches and root
We are committed to sustainability and responsible resource use. We utilize every part of the teak tree, including branches and roots, to produce our furniture. By doing so, we ensure that nothing goes to waste, maximizing the value of each tree harvested for new teak production.
This approach allows us to upcycle materials that might otherwise be discarded, transforming them into beautiful and functional pieces. By choosing Sempre, you are supporting a more sustainable planet, where natural resources are used thoughtfully and efficiently, contributing to a greener future for all.
