Lavastone

As the name suggests, lavastone is a product derived from lava from an erupted volcano. The lava rolls through sand and hardens, which creates this beautiful product. Due to this natural emergence, the product is porous, and color differences occur.

Rattan

Wicker is used at Sempre for various products: from lamps to storage baskets. As a base material, we choose between rattan, abaca, water hyacinth, and rope.

Our rattan products are woven by hand, so the ends of the rattan can come loose. If so, they can be tucked in again or cut off.

Abaca is a strong, durable, and eco-friendly fibre derived from the leaves of the abaca plant. Abaca fibre is valued for its exceptional strength, flexibility, buoyancy, and resistance to damage in salt water.

Ceramics

Our tableware is made from natural gres, a high-quality material that, like ceramics, undergoes a high-temperature firing process. However, gres is denser, more durable, and less porous than traditional ceramics due to its unique composition and higher firing temperature.

We glaze our stoneware to provide a range of beautiful colors and finishes while adding an extra layer of protection. If a piece chips, the natural gres color will show through, blending harmoniously with the overall look.

Advantages of our stoneware include its superior durability, heat resistance, low porosity, and consistent aesthetics, making it a premium choice over traditional ceramics.

Teak branches and root

At Sempre, we are committed to sustainability and responsible resource use. We utilize every part of the teak tree, including branches and roots, to produce our furniture. By doing so, we ensure that nothing goes to waste, maximizing the value of each tree harvested for new teak production.

This approach allows us to upcycle materials that might otherwise be discarded, transforming them into beautiful and functional pieces. Recycled teak
